For over 35 years, Mora Salt och Rökning has produced and delivered locally sourced charcuterie to stores throughout Dalarna. The bacon and charcuterie we serve at Muntergården breakfast comes from here — so you can taste their craft without leaving our B&B.

This is a genuine Dalarna company that produces locally sourced meat and charcuterie products. With long experience in sausage craftsmanship, they constantly develop their range to suit modern tastes while respecting tradition.

True Craftsmanship

The staff have incredible knowledge of the craft — no machines are used, everything is handwork. They use no artificial smoke flavors; if the package says wood-fired or chip-smoked, that's exactly what it is. Everything delivered is also produced on-site.

The smoking happens in their large wood-fired oven, and they offer many exciting products and seasonings, carefully selected based on long experience.

Local & Sustainable

The company was founded in 1983 by Sverre Ulriksen, initially as a smokery, with sausage production added in 1988. In 2024, Anders "Svinto" Larsson and Per Andersson took over. They specialize in sausage production and work only with locally sourced meat from Swedish farmers who help keep the beautiful landscape open. The idea is to maintain small-scale diversity.

The shop at Mossvägen 20 in Mora is open 11:00–15:00 on weekdays (excluding holidays). You can also order their famous ölkorv and älgjägare online for delivery throughout Sweden.
